My Story
In the first 10 years, I learned everything about sales and leadership at Concentra Media (today Mediahuis), and in the past 14 years at Wildstream, I learned about entrepreneurship, technology, and transforming businesses. We evolved from a digital collective of over 40 people to an expert group of over 130 people with an annual turnover of more than 10 million euros, 80% of which is recurrent. As a managing partner, I was actively involved in the operation of our own SaaS platforms and IT company, but as CEO, I look back with pride on the founding of Hybrid in 2012 and the successful U-turn in 2019 from a web agency to a performance marketing agency. Today, Hybrid is a leading expert agency working for clients like Ava, Aveve, X2O, Impermo, Albert Heijn, etc., accounting for a YRR of nearly 3 million euro and an annual growth of nearly 20%. So, you can say that I have instantly combined the startup and management of 2 tech companies with transforming a human capital company, and all this with a lot of passion, enthusiasm, and dedication.
Although I didn't fully realize it at the time, the seed was planted in November 2022, the day when the entire sector was astonished by the rapid emergence of the LLM Chat GTP. Although I have been digitally active since the burst of the .com bubble, pioneered with a big data platform in 2012, and launched over 10 SAAS platforms with Wildstream group, I felt a sense of renaissance. I can't imagine any industry that won't be transformed by AI and see huge challenges ahead of us. On one hand, AI is multidisciplinary and needs strong generalists who can build bridges. On the other hand, many companies have not yet completed their digital transition and managers and executives understand very little of the playing field we have entered today. Each of these companies will need an AI champion who can oversee all this and take the lead in a sustainable transition. This is precisely the role where not only my enormous passion for AI is central, but also where I see a fantastic mission that will give me even more satisfaction than the wonderful experiences I have had in recent years.
